Make Time
When life gets busy, its easy to get caught up in all of the commitments that you have going on. Sometimes there’s just not enough hours in the day! Make time for yourself this week to do the things that you’ve been wanting to do for a while. Learn something new, plan a getaway, read a book, or whatever makes you happy.
Treat Yourself

Focus On Your Health
At work, you’re constantly working to improve your patients’ health and wellness. But, how much time do you actively spend to improve yours? This week, focus on both your physical and mental health. Make a plan to follow through with into the future.
Recognize Others
Recognize your coworkers that show up every day and work as hard as they can. It’s important to appreciate those unsung heroes! Even just a small gesture of appreciation can make a huge difference in someone’s attitude and happiness.
Switch It Up
If you’ve been feeling bored in your current role and facility, it’s time to switch it up! You could switch into a different area of nursing, a different facility, work per diem, simply start working different shifts. A change in routine can be a huge mood changer!
Celebrate at Work
Bring in some treats to work! Whether it’s coffee and donuts, or some thank you cards, your coworkers will never forget your kindness.
Schedule a Nurse Night Out
Plan a night of fun with all of your nurse friends. It’s no surprise that nurses have the most fun! Make this a monthly event, and you all will be looking forward to it every month!
Reflect on the Year
What have you accomplished so far this year? What other goals do you want to meet this year? Celebrate your accomplishments and make a plan to achieve your future goals. You’ve done great so far and there’s still so much more that you can achieve!
